* Associate Position in Busy NHS Practice in West End of Glasgow - Non-corporate *
One of our associates is sadly retiring at the end of the summer so we are recruiting for a new associate to take over a sizeable existing patient list! Ideal Monday-Thursday working pattern but open to discussion on days or possibility of fewer days initially.
- We are independently owned, with a large team of 6 dentists and two therapists, 6 nurses and a practice manager
- We were a training practice 7 consecutive years with our last VDP staying on, very supportive environment with an open door policy throughout
- Mainly NHS treatments but we also offer cosmetic work including short term ortho, facial aesthetics and private composites/bonding/airflow etc
- You will be working in a very large, ground floor surgery with 4 bright windows including a bay
- 15 minutes from Glasgow Uni and 20 mins from town
- Free street parking and local train links 5 mins walk away
Patients are a mix of exempt patients with high treatment needs and lots of restorations, XLAs, RCTs and dentures etc, and another cohort of well maintained mouths seeking some cosmetic work - this gives a variation that makes the day go quickly.
Our practice would be a great setting for an experienced GDP looking to crack on with a lot of treatment in a friendly place with long standing staff and an experienced manager on site. However there is ample support available for someone finishing VT to transition to a setting where they could continue to get advice and assistance when needed.
The general ethos in the practice is to treat patients from every walk of life with dignity and respect, to be a professional and supportive team, but also enjoy a laugh and a carry on in work, and of course the obligatory nights out at the boss's expense! We have a huge private garden and sit out every lunch time together getting the sun (when it's here!).
