Full-time & Part-time Regular Shifts available on a Sessional Basis
Job Role: Housing Support Worker
Location: Renfrewshire (Close to Glasgow & Glasgow Airport)
Salary: £13.45 per hour

Please ensure you can commit to the rota below before applying.
This role offers a condensed working pattern, making full-time hours achievable through sleepover shifts. There is options to work part-time, adjusted to one weekend shift a week if applicable.
Weekday Shift
You will work:
One backshift sleepover shift each week, Monday to Thursday
Shift time: 3:00pm – 9:00am the following day (includes sleepover)
Rolling Weekend Rota
You will also work a four-week rolling weekend pattern:
Week 1: Friday sleepover shift (3:00pm – 9:00am)
Week 2: Saturday shift (9:00am – 9:00am)
Week 3: Sunday shift (9:00am – 9:00am)
Week 4: Weekend off
The rota then repeats every four weeks.

The Role
As a Housing Support Worker, you’ll support young people in their homes, helping them build routines, engage in meaningful activities, and develop to a path of independence. You’ll work closely with colleagues and external professionals to meet their social, emotional, and educational needs.
This is primarily a lone-working role, supported by an experienced management team who are available 24/7.
Housing Support Worker Responsibilities:
- Support positive outcomes with structure, boundaries and care plan goals
- Promote routines and act as a positive role model
- Support leisure, learning, and Independent living skills
- Ensure safety and wellbeing, following Child and Adult Protection procedures and understand Safeguarding
- Work in line with National Care Standards and The Promise Initiative
- Collaborate with teams, families, and professionals
- Maintain accurate records and follow health and safety guidelines
· Develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, young adults and families
- Carry out duties in line with Catch Scotland Ltd policies and procedures, SSSC Standards and Professional Code of Conduct

- 1 x weekday backshift sleepover shift
- 1 x weekend shift (1 in 4 weekends off)
- Lone working role with community management support 24/7
- Based in the Renfrew/Paisley/West Dunbartonshire/Inverclyde area, supporting young people in their own tenancy
- Support ratio: 1 staff member to 1 Young Person
About Catch
For over 14 years, Catch Scotland Ltd has been supporting care-experienced and vulnerable young adults aged 16–25 with transitional care towards independency. We Catch offers 1:1 transitional housing support, vocational training, care and learning experiences tailored to meeting the needs of care experienced young adults towards independence.
About You
- Ideally 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care, but not essential
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle beneficial

- Location: Renfrewshire, West Dunbartonshire – easily accessible from Glasgow, Paisley, and surrounding areas
