Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Home Help Assistant to provide essential support and care during overnight hours. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and maintaining a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to clients during the night, including assistance with mobility, medication reminders,
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals as required.
- Ensure the safety and security of clients by monitoring their condition and environment throughout the shift.
- Document any changes in client condition accurately .
- Organise and manage daily routines, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other household tasks as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent situations, following established protocols.
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain professional standards at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in elderly care and dementia.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude towards clients’ wellbeing.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of service.
- Previous experience in healthcare or home care is advantageous but not mandatory.
