Duties

- Oversee food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
- Train staff on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold the restaurant’s reputation.
- Assist with serving customers during busy periods when necessary, ensuring excellent hospitality.
Skills
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management.
- Supervising experience within a culinary or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Skilled in food preparation, presentation, and flavour development.
- Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the capacity to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
