Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Outdoor Buildings Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of installation tasks across a variety of different buildings, ranging between small timber sheds right up to more complicated green houses and metal buildings, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all projects.
Duties:
- Assemble and erect outdoor buildings according to manufacturer instructions and customer specifications.
- Use of multiple hand tools and power tools to perform installation tasks.
- Ensure buildings are completed safely and efficiently.
- Consulting with customers on site with any maintenance queries / advice.
Skills:
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in carpentry and fabrication.
- Knowledge of roofing and plumbing techniques.
- Knowledge of general DIY to overcome on site problem solving.
This position is a 5 day permanent position, based at Homeleigh Garden Centre, Dutson, Launceston, Cornwall, PL159SP. The position is Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) with the added flexibility that we may need help on other days across the garden centre on occasion.
Pay: From £28,250.00 per year
