If so, you could be just the person we are looking for to fill the position that we have available for a Sales & Follow up along with managing the front desk of Biomechanix clinic (Coventry Foot Doctor), Brixham
Drive, Coventry.
The Role
Your Role will primarily be front desk dealing with patients and their clinicians face to face.
You will be the first face they meet when they arrive at the clinic and you will be responsible for making them feel welcome and that they have made the right choice choosing us as their healthcare provider.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide admin duties to assist our current, future and past patients with all their enquiries ensuring they achieve their health goals and experience a WOW service.
Secondly they will expected to use the phone to help patient's with their enquiries.
Tasks That Need To Be Performed
- Communicate the value of our services in person and on the phone and be able to explain how what we do is worth the cost
- Be able hold lengthy conversations with current & potential patient's in person and on the phone assisting them in overcoming all of the barriers to proceeding with booking an appointment in a committed frame of mind
- Handle price objections
- Ensuring that patients who request appointments are scheduled correctly
- Provide a wow experience to patient's in the clinic that they are looking forward to coming back to and want to tell their friends and family about.
- Organise both clinicians schedules and recommended treatment plans to maximise efficiency and revenue for the clinic.
- Communicate with patients before, during and after their treatment plan to ensure that they are totally satisfied with all aspects of their care.
- Ensure that all invoices are raised correctly and payments received and recorded following best practice
- Actively develop and record the systems you utilise in your tasks to ensure continuity when theses tasks are performed by another member of the team
- Completion of routine admin tasks as requested.
Skills Needed To Perform This Role
- Be able to hold an empathetic conversation with a prospective patient in person and occasionally on the phone for up to 20 mins
- Make all patients feel warmly welcome and remembered and enjoy interacting with you
- Be able to answer all questions with authority asked by patients in such a way as to increase the chances of the patient booking and appropriate appointment and reaching their goal
- An ability to learn the skills needed quickly
- Efficiency in how tasks are performed
- An ability to organise yourself and clinicians schedule in an efficient manner
- A dogged persistence & determination to see tasks through to their end.
- An ability to be proactive when called for
- An ability to be aware of a patient's or colleague unspoken need
- Need to be adaptable or resourceful when things don’t go as expected
- Computer literate and willingness to learn new skills IT based and otherwise.
