Your key responsibilities will include:
Training & Competence Compliance
Maintaining training matrices and competence records
Managing certificates, evidence, and renewal tracking
Supporting training programme design and development
SHEQ Administration
Providing compliance administration support to all branches
Supporting standardisation and centralisation of Health & Safety systems
Supporting internal and external audits
Tracking corrective actions and close-out evidence
Distributing toolbox talks and SHEQ alerts
Roofing Academy & Apprentice Administration
Maintaining apprentice training and attendance records
Supporting compliance with funding, training, and safeguarding requirements

About You:
Essential
Experience in SHEQ, H&S, training, construction, compliance, or administration
GCSEs (or equivalent) as a minimum
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with a professional approach
Strongly desired
Construction experience
CSCS Card
Driving Licence
Proven SHEQ Experience
Willing to work towards
CSCS Gold Card
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline
PTLLS / AET Level 3
Safeguarding training or experience
Familiarity with UK H&S legislation and British Standards

Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong interest in SHEQ or related fields
- Knowledge of report writing techniques and documentation standards within SHEQ frameworks
- Basic understanding of root cause analysis methods to investigate incidents effectively
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and documentation
- Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with team members at all levels
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team efforts
