Willow Green Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) is looking to appoint a Therapy Assistant who will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team working that takes place at Willow Green.
The postholder will work in partnership with our Therapy Lead and a range of external stakeholders. The postholder will work independently following direction from the Therapy Lead, who will coordinate the service. Under the direction of the Therapy Lead, the Therapy Assistant will draw upon knowledge, skills and experience of working with learners who have significant and complex special educational needs and/or disabilities.
The Therapy Assistant will play a key role in supporting the delivery of therapeutic approaches to ensure learners receive consistent, personalised and effective support. The role requires a calm, reflective, and person-centred approach, with a strong focus on helping learners develop emotional regulation, communication, independence, and confidence in both college and community settings.
