We are the nursery of choice for families in our village, and thanks to a large number of new children starting, we are seeking a new Apprentice who we can support to become a qualified Early Years Educator.
About the Role:
You will work closely with our qualified Educators to provide an outstanding education to children across all age groups of the nursery, whilst also completing all the required academic work as part of your level 3 Early years Educator Diploma.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work with your Room Leader to deliver an outstanding level of education and care
- Share ideas with the team to help keep learning activities fresh and exciting for the children
- Be prepared to play, sing, dance, create props and generally be a wonderfully fun and creative person for children to be inspired by
- Complete your academic work to a high standard
- Get to know EYFS back to front and inside out so you can help children develop
- Ensure you work towards understanding OFSTED and statutory requirements
- Form secure relationships with children ensuring they feel safe and cared for everyday
- Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance standards are consistently met
- Foster strong partnerships with parents
- Help create a warm, welcoming environment where children, families and staff thrive
About You
- Have at least a grade 4 in English and Maths GCSEs
- Be passionate about building a career in Early Years
- Be committed to studying
- Be prepared to build good bonds with children and to show up for them each and every day
- A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
