The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, installing, and inspecting a wide range of healthcare equipment in care homes, hospitals, and private residences. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring equipment safety, reliability, and compliance with LOLER regulations while delivering outstanding customer service as a key representative of 24 NRG Group.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out LOLER inspections and compliance testing
Service, maintain, and repair healthcare equipment including:
Hoists
Slings
Pressure mattresses
Wheelchairs
Bed pan washer - disinfectant machine
Install and commission new equipment
Conduct site surveys and assess customer requirements
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
Build strong client relationships through excellent service delivery
Complete digital service reports using a smartphone or tablet
This role involves regular travel across the UK, including overnight stays typically up to 3 nights per week, depending on workload and location requirements.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, customer-focused, and confident working independently in a field-based environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year’s experience servicing healthcare equipment, including LOLER inspections
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working within care homes, hospitals, or similar healthcare settings
Strong communication and organisational skills
Flexibility to travel and stay away overnight when required
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
Previous experience within healthcare equipment service environments
