Job description
- The After School Assistants and Supervisor will work along side the team in the day to day running of the out of school club, to create a safe, caring and welcoming environment for children and their families.
- Assist with the setting up and putting away in the playroom each day.
- Compliance with Minimum Standards.
- Contribute to planning play programmes.
- Maintain records.
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to.
Qualifications QCF level 2/ 3/5 in Playwork, Children's Care, Learning and Development (CCLD) or equivalent. Candidates who are working for a qualification may apply.
Experience working in a childcare setting is desirable.
Safeguarding Certificate, Paediatric 1st Aid, Food Hygiene certificate will be required on starting the position.
Candidates should be able to communicate with all children in an appropriate manner, being responsive to their needs and building positive relationships with them.
Additional hours available during school holidays
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
