We are looking for a hard working self motivated barber to work in this well known barbershop in the affluent area of south west London. Must have a good professional and friendly manner with great customer service skills. All aspects of barbering are preferable but we’re happy to teach / train
The Role
You will be joining a small, friendly team in a professional, modern and well-established barbershop with a loyal customer base.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Deliver good-quality men’s haircuts and barbering services.
- Build genuine relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the shop.
- Work well as part of a small team.
- Communicate confidently with customers and have a good level of spoken English.
- Take advice and guidance positively and be willing to develop their skills.
- Build their own customer base and encourage customers to rebook with them.
- Recommend and sell our professional hair and styling products, with commission available on product sales.
- Take pride in their appearance, work and the environment they work in.
Training & Development
If you’re newly qualified or have limited experience working in a busy barbershop, that’s absolutely fine.
We are happy to provide guidance, support and on-the-job training to help you develop your confidence, barbering skills and customer service.
However, you must already have a good foundation and understanding of barbering and be enthusiastic about learning.
Hours & Progression
The position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to progress to full-time hours for the right person.
We will start with a short trial period so that both you and us can make sure we’re the right fit for each other.
There is genuine opportunity to progress within the business. As you develop your skills, build your customer base and demonstrate that you can bring customers back into the shop, your earning potential will increase.
Pay & Earning Potential
Pay will reflect your experience, ability and level of barbering.
We believe in giving people the opportunity to build their earnings. The starting rate may be lower while you establish yourself, but there is strong earning potential for a barber who can build a loyal customer base and consistently deliver a great service.
There are also opportunities to earn commission through product sales.
