Wilson Associates Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Plasma Profile Cutting Operator to work with our client based in Stanley
We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and tools in an Engineering environment, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
As a Plasma Cutter Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the plasma cutting machine to precisely cut steel profiles and plates according to specifications. you will have the experience to understand and interpret drawing profiles, measure materials accurately, and adjust machine controls to ensure high-quality cuts.
Maintaining equipment, performing routine inspections, and adhering to safety protocols are essential to prevent accidents and ensure operational efficiency.
Skills
- Experience with hand tools and fabrication processes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in working with sheet metal.
- Must have Forklift Truck Experience / License.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
the £15.95 is based on a 3 shift rotation pattern, applicants must be flexible for shifts
