JOB TITLE: Trainee Swimming Pool Engineer

MAIN PURPOSE:
Due to significant turnover growth, Guncast Swimming Pools, design and construction company with offices in West Sussex and Oxfordshire are looking to appoint new trainee engineers, to strengthen and complement the existing team. The company operates within the luxury swimming pool sector both domestic and commercial, and experience in the swimming pool construction industry including filtration, heating and chemical dosing systems is required. Some UK and overseas travel may be required.
You will be under the responsibility of the Contracts Manager, who will help you identify your professional goals and support you in developing your skills.

KEY DUTIES:
On site working predominantly on sites anywhere in the south of England and in central London
Installing and pressure testing pool circulation pipework and fittings
Complete swimming pool plant room installations
Cable installations
General other on site works as required
Commissioning of pool systems
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
Good organisational and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to self-manage when required.
To be well presented
Ability to communicate detailed and accurate information
Basic computer literacy. Email use essential.
Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external
ISPE qualification or equivalent
CSCS card
Full, clean driving license
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in swimming pool construction industry preferable but not essential as training will be given
Knowledge and experience of general building practices preferable but not essential
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics preferable but not essential
London driving experience
Plumbing experience
Electrical experience
