You will be part of an amazing workforce supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, challenging behavior and other complex care requirements at our 14 bedroom supported living complex in Wigston!
What we are looking for:
- Must have experience working within a complex care setting or a similar health care setting
- Must have experience working with clients who have learning disability, autism, mental health or challenging behaviors
- Driver essential but not required
- Must be able to communicate clearly
- Must be able to work on their own aswell as a team
The role could involve the following:
- Communicating with relevant people and following the programmes in place to ensure all needs are met
- Meal preparation and assistance
- Planning and taking part in activities with the client
- Assisting or supporting with medication
- Assisting or supporting with finances
- Encouraging and assisting with community access
- Accurate record keeping & meeting individual’s needs
- Social visits
- House keeping
- Completing daily documentation of your visit
This Support Worker role comes with a number of benefits, including:
