Are you a reliable driver who takes pride in providing a friendly, dependable service? Allied Pharmacy in Torpoint is looking for a PPD Delivery Driver to join our community pharmacy team, delivering prescriptions safely and on time to patients in the local area.
As the face of our pharmacy on the doorstep, you'll play an important role in supporting patients who rely on us for their medication. You'll be well-organised, personable and happy to go the extra mile to make sure every delivery reaches the right person, in the right condition, at the right time.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver Patient Packed Dispensing (PPD) prescriptions to patients' homes and care settings in and around Torpoint
- Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure prompt, reliable service
- Handle medication securely and in line with pharmacy procedures and confidentiality requirements
- Confirm safe receipt of deliveries and complete any related paperwork accurately
- Provide a warm, respectful and professional experience for every patient you meet
- Support the wider pharmacy team with related tasks as needed
What we're looking for:
- A full, valid UK driving licence with a good driving record
- A calm, courteous manner and genuine care for the people you'll be serving
- Good organisational skills and a strong sense of responsibility
- Awareness of the importance of confidentiality when handling patient information
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Previous delivery or customer-facing experience is helpful but not essential
