About the Role:
Based within the Counselling and Wellbeing Service on our Chelmsford campus, and working with colleagues across our other campuses, you will be supporting students with their mental health and wellbeing throughout their studies. Taking a proactive approach to supporting student wellbeing and effectively triaging incoming students to the service, you’ll play an important role in providing information, advice and guidance to service users. You’ll be responsible for receiving and triaging third party student concerns to the service and delivering 1-2-1 student support to those seeking wellbeing support.
With a minimum of degree level qualification, you’ll have demonstratable experience of working with students in distress, or in a mental health and wellbeing setting. Knowledge of mental health difficulties and understanding risk are highly desirable and you’ll require sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
