Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Duties
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process accounts payable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare financial reports as required, including profit and loss statements.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Provide support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or other relevant platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

Pay is between £15,00-£20.00 per hr depending on experience
