Haulaway are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join our team at our busy Waste Transfer Station. As part of our operations team, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient movement of waste materials on site, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
Monday to Friday 7.30 - 17.30
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the loading shovel safely and efficiently to move, load, and sort waste materials
- Feed plant in line with site requirements
- Carry out daily checks and routine maintenance of the vehicle
- Ensure working areas are kept clean and free from hazards
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
- Support other site operations as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Loading Shovel licence (CPCS/NPORS or equivalent)
- Previous experience working at a waste management or recycling facility preferred
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment
