We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic ‘Pallet Dispatch Lead' to join our award winning team at the British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry, Shropshire. We’re looking for someone with enthusiasm and integrity to represent our family business in the best way.
What we’re looking for:
- Full training will be provided, previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required
- Forklift license is preferred but not required, training may be provided if necessary
- Physical fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Reliability and punctuality: Consistent attendance and timeliness.
- Teamwork skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Attention to detail: Working with high value items ensuring precision and accuracy
- Safety awareness: Adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Training and information will be provided on site.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading our pallet delivery process and assessing the orders shipping requirements
- Prioritising workload and ensuring the safe and timely dispatch of high value orders
- General warehouse duties including picking and packing
- Ensuring goods are made available for dispatch in line with customer expectations
- Loading and unloading deliveries efficiently & safely.
- Upholding goods inwards and returns processes
- General warehouse health and safety ensuring all areas of the warehouse are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Assist with other areas of the business when required – working offsite when required
