Job Summary
Job Summary : Primary focus on experienced Frontend Software Engineers, with strong React expertise. Proven experience building accessible, testable, scalable user interfaces. Strong test-first mindset (TDD) and confidence writing automated tests. Hands-on experience with: * React, JavaScript/TypeScript * JestJS and modern frontend testing practices * Accessibility standards (WCAG) and tooling (axe-core) Desirable (bonus) skills: * Backend development with Java / Quarkus * Working with REST APIs and PostgreSQL * DevOps exposure across CI/CD pipelines, containers and Kubernetes Experience operating at Senior level, including: * Technical ownership of solutions * Coaching/mentoring other engineers * Contributing to architectural and technical direction Scope of the Services Provide Software Engineers to work within feature teams Delivery of front-end led features for the Data Marketplace, aligned to lab priorities Responsibilities include: * End‑to‑end software engineering (design, build, test, release) * Strong ownership of frontend delivery quality and technical direction * Coaching and supporting other team members within the feature team * Work with PO, Design, and business stakeholders to understand and refine features * Participation in agile ceremonies, code reviews and technical communities * Active application custodianship, including incident support and root-cause analysis
