Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting car parts safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, excellent driving skills, and adherence to safety regulations. The ideal applicant will have prior experience in commercial driving and familiarity with flatbed vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedule requirements.
- Load and unload items carefully, ensuring the safety of products and personnel.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory checks and stock organisation.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps efficiently.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
