Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters and Waitresses to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest service in a lively dining environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position involves delivering food and beverages efficiently while ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders with attentiveness and professionalism
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with setting tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing knowledgeable recommendations
- Handle guest queries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and provide receipts to guests
- Maintain a clean, organised work station throughout shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to enhance guest experiences
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
