Production Operative – Stalbridge
Location: Stalbridge
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
Shift options: 5:30am–2:00pm or 8:00am–4:30pm

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join a busy spring and wire manufacturing company in Stalbridge.
This is a hands-on role where you will be trained to operate a variety of production machinery throughout the factory. You’ll play an important part in keeping production running efficiently while ensuring products meet the required quality standards.
The Role
As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a variety of manufacturing machines safely and efficiently
- Pressing machine controls and buttons correctly according to production requirements
- Monitoring machines to ensure they are running smoothly
- Keeping machinery supplied with the correct materials
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identifying and reporting any issues with machinery or products
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working area
- Following company health & safety and production procedures
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
About You
We’re looking for people who are:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
- Practical and hands-on, with good attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and production processes accurately
- Quality-conscious and able to identify defects
- Comfortable working with machinery
- A good team player with a positive attitude
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
