Step into a key leadership role as Registered Manager at a specialist EBD children’s home in Hatch Beauchamp, Somerset – championing child-focused care and guiding a passionate team to success.
This role will consider candidates on an interim and permanent basis.
The role:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the home, maintaining excellent standards of care and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Motivating, mentoring, and guiding a dedicated staff team to perform at their best.
- Developing effective partnerships with local authorities, education providers, and community organisations.
- Promoting a therapeutic approach to care and nurturing a supportive, child-centred environment.
- Taking responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety, and overall operational management.
- Collaborating with the Responsible Individual and senior leadership team to support the continued growth and improvement of the service.
About You:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or a clear commitment to achieving this qualification).
- A minimum of two years’ recent experience in a supervisory or management capacity within a registered children’s home.
- Proven leadership ability, with excellent communication skills and a track record of developing and motivating teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding frameworks, and Ofsted regulatory standards.
- A full UK driving licence.
