Nursery Practitioner – Full-Time/Part-Time

A warm, caring, and welcoming nursery in the Trowbridge area is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their supportive, team-focused setting on a full-time, 5 days per week basis.
This lovely nursery provides a positive, nurturing environment where children are always the priority and staff work closely together as a team. The setting is known for its welcoming atmosphere and supportive leadership.
About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the team in creating a safe, happy, and stimulating environment where children can learn and develop through play. You’ll be involved in daily routines and activities, working alongside experienced and caring colleagues who are always happy to help.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure children are safe, happy, and well cared for at all times
- Support learning through play, stories, songs, and creative activities
- Assist with daily routines including meals, nappies, toileting, and rest times
- Set up and tidy away activities throughout the day
- Keep play areas clean, organised, and welcoming
- Encourage positive behaviour and kind social interactions
- Build warm, positive relationships with children and families
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
- Work closely as part of a friendly and supportive team
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, patient, and reliable
- A positive team player
- Available to work part-time/full-time (8:30am- 13:30pm, ideally 8:30am–5:30pm)
- Flexible and happy to support across the nursery
- Previous nursery or childcare experience is beneficial but not essential
