Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for a Shot Blaster to join a well-established manufacturer of lorry trailers and bodies in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a hands-on role working within a busy production environment, preparing trailers and components for the paint spraying process. If you have experience in shot blasting and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate shot blasting equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare lorry trailers and vehicle bodies prior to paint spraying
- Inspect surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards
- Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and free from hazards
Requirements:
- Previous shot blasting, industrial cleaning, or surface preparation experience preferred
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
