About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team at Kirkby Dental Practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, guiding them through their treatment journey, and helping our practice run smoothly.
As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their treatment plan from consultation through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main liaison between patients and the clinical team, explaining proposed treatment plans, costs, and timelines clearly and compassionately
- Guide patients through their treatment journey, following up on outstanding treatment and rebooking as needed
- Manage patient enquiries in person, by phone, and by email
- Handle diary management and appointment scheduling to maximise clinical efficiency
- Discuss finance options and payment plans with patients
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with practice policy and GDPR
- Support the wider front-of-house team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Help maintain high patient satisfaction and support practice growth
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a dental, healthcare, or customer-facing coordination role (dental experience preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, patient-focused approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using dental practice management software (training provided)
- Ability to work well within a team and use initiative
Working Hours (1 hour unpaid lunch break each day)
- Monday: 8:45 am – 6:00 pm
- Tuesday: 8:45 am – 5:30 pm
- Wednesday: 8:45 am – 5:15 pm
- Thursday: 8:45 am – 5:15 pm
- Friday: 8:45 am – 2:30 pm
- Saturday & Sunday: Closed
