Videographer
Bobby White – London
12-Month Contract
We are looking for a Videographer to join the Bobby White team on a 12-month contract, helping us capture the people, craftsmanship and stories behind the brand.
Our content follows the making of luxury jewellery and watches from our London workshop, alongside the wider world of Bobby White. We are developing a weekly, documentary-style YouTube series focused on real moments, characters and craftsmanship rather than traditional staged content.
This role would suit someone with a strong interest in documentary and observational filmmaking who is comfortable working within a small team and capturing stories as they naturally unfold.
The Role
You will be responsible for filming activity within our workshop, interviews with the team and supporting footage that helps us build each story.
Filming will include:
- Workshop processes and craftsmanship
- Observational / actuality filming
- Team conversations and interviews
- Product and detailed macro shots
- Establishing, B-roll and atmospheric footage
- London and location filming
- Travelling with the team to events, projects and shoots in the UK and internationally
You will also be responsible for the basic management and preparation of footage after filming, including downloading and backing up media, organising footage, syncing audio and preparing footage for the edit.
All camera, lighting and audio equipment is provided.
Experience
You should be confident operating a Sony FX3 and have a good understanding of camera settings, exposure, lighting and recording high-quality audio.
We're particularly interested in people who understand documentary and observational filmmaking — knowing when to follow the action, anticipate moments and capture the additional shots an editor needs to build a scene.
You should be:
- Passionate about filmmaking and visual storytelling
- Confident using a Sony FX3
- Comfortable setting up and recording professional audio
- Experienced with lighting and camera setup
- Comfortable filming interviews
- Organised with footage and media management
- Able to work independently and anticipate what needs to be captured
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
- Happy to travel when required
Working Pattern
This is a flexible part-time production role based around 120 production days across the 12-month contract.
Production days are not tied to fixed weekdays and will be scheduled throughout the year depending on filming requirements, events, travel and what is happening within the business.
A standard production day is 7.5 working hours with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Due to the nature of production, start and finish times may vary depending on the shoot.
There may also be opportunities for additional paid production days beyond the contracted 120 days when required.
The role is primarily based at our London workshop but will involve travel within the UK and internationally. Business travel expenses are covered.
Salary & Benefits
- 12-month employment contract
- 120 production days across the year
- Salary paid monthly
- Statutory paid holiday
- Additional production days paid separately when required
- Business travel expenses covered
- Camera, lighting and audio equipment provided
