Play Café Team Member

3–4 days per week | 8:30am–4:00pm | Must be 18+ | Occasional weekend may be needed.
Cloud Nine Crayford is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team!
We are a busy children’s Role Play & Sand Play Café, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fun, family-focused environment and isn’t afraid to get stuck in!
The Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service
- Preparing and serving food and drinks in our café
- Taking orders and handling payments
- Keeping the café and play areas clean, tidy and safe
- Cleaning and resetting play areas between sessions
- General cleaning throughout the day
- Helping with the opening and closing of the venue
- Interacting with children and families
- Supporting the team during busy sessions and events
Hours
We are looking for someone who can work 3–4 days per week, approximately:
8:30am – 4:00pm
The role will be predominantly weekdays, however, we also host children’s parties and events, so occasional weekend availability may be required.
We’re looking for someone who can be a little flexible when needed and is happy to help with party hosting from time to time.
Flexibility is important, and applicants must be aged 18 or over.

Previous experience in hospitality, cafés, childcare, soft play or customer service would be an advantage, but the right attitude and personality are just as important.

Cloud Nine Crayford is a children’s Role Play & Sand Play Café designed to give little ones a fun and imaginative place to play while parents and carers can relax and enjoy our café.
We’re a small, friendly team and are looking for someone who will become a reliable and valued part of Cloud Nine.
