HGV Mechanic fitter to work on van and trucks in a very busy family run business. Part time position.Hours to suit individual. Good rates of pay. Experience essential.
Duties:
- Repair heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and their components
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicles are in proper working order
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform necessary repairs
- Use power tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
