About Baboodle
We’re Baboodle, the UK’s first baby equipment subscription platform, on a mission to make parenting easier, more affordable, and more sustainable. Instead of buying prams, cots, and other kit, families rent from us for as long as they need it, helping parents save money and keeping thousands of items out of landfill.
Behind the scenes, our warehouse team makes the magic happen: every order spotless, every return carefully checked, every shelf organised. That’s where you come in.
The Role
Warehouse Associates play an essential role at Baboodle. This isn’t just about moving boxes, it’s about drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm for the challenge. You’ll be hands-on across every part of the warehouse, making sure that parents receive high-quality kit on time, and that stock is always ready for the next family.
This is a startup role. We’re constantly improving processes, introducing new technologies, and building systems as we grow. You’ll need to be adaptable, curious, and excited about being at the forefront of change. Above all, you’ll be someone who mucks in, does what’s best for the team, and takes pride in keeping standards high.
What you’ll be doing
In your role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the dispatch of daily orders, picking and packing orders, ensuring all goods meet Baboodle’s quality standards and following our SOPs.
- Ensuring all customer orders are sent in good condition and on time.
- Handling DPD handovers, including loading goods onto the van when required and liaising with the driver.
- Processing returns, checking items sent back are complete and working, and triaging them for cleaning or putaway.
- Completing the putaway process: returning items to the correct shelf, logging location, and applying Baboodle’s traffic light system.
- Logging issues or missing parts and communicating them clearly to the team.
- Carrying out daily and backlog stock checks.
- Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor and Operations Lead with improvements to quality control and improving efficiencies.
- Taking ownership of stock quality and warehouse organisation.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy at the end of each day.
- Completing a daily handover document (stock, issues, missing parts) via our Slack workflow.

- A warehouse that is clean, safe, and well-organised at the end of every day.
