Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Registered Nurse to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be proficient in managing a complex caseload, including Chronic Disease Management (COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, Spirometry), Cytology, and a full range of immunisations. Key Responsibilities:
- Chronic Disease Management: Lead annual reviews for Diabetes, Asthma, and COPD (including Spirometry).
- Preventative Care: Perform Cervical Cytology, NHS Health Checks, and Travel Health consultations.
- Clinical Skills: Deliver wound management (post-op care), venepuncture, and child/adult immunisations.
- Operational Support: Manage vaccine stock control, participate in clinical audits, and conduct medication reviews.
- System Knowledge: Utilize EMIS Web (preferred) to maintain accurate clinical records.
Requirements:
- Mandatory: Valid NMC Registration and proven experience in a UK GP Practice environment.
- Competencies: Fully trained in Spirometry, Cytology, and Child Immunisations.
- Desirable: Independent Prescribing qualification and experience with EMIS Web.
