Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. A strong background in patient care and experience with specific needs such as Autism and Learning Disabilities will be highly valued.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health.
- Engage in behaviour management techniques to support clients with challenging behaviours.
- Facilitate social interaction and companionship to enhance quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Drive clients to appointments or activities as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £12.74 per hour
