Factory Floor Onboarding & Training Lead
Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm
This is a practical, factory-floor-based role supporting new starters as they join Foodpro, learn how we work and develop the skills needed to be successful in their role. Working closely with Supervisors, Managers and agency providers, you will help ensure all new starters receive the right support from day one and understand what is expected of them.
You will be the first point of contact, welcoming new starters on their first day, issuing PPE, completing onboarding documentation and introducing them to their department. You will remain involved throughout their first three months, carrying out regular reviews, answering questions, identifying any support requirements and escalating concerns where necessary.
Alongside onboarding, you will coordinate their training, maintain onboarding records, monitor attendance, investigate no-shows and liaise with agency providers to help ensure labour requirements are met.
This role would suit somebody who enjoys working with people, builds positive relationships quickly and is comfortable spending most of their time on the factory floor rather than behind a desk. You will need to be organised, confident communicating with people at all levels, have good PC skills, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy manufacturing environment.
Experience within food manufacturing or production is essential. Previous experience supporting onboarding, training or employee development would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
Pay: £29,540.00 per year
