Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in a vibrant retail environment. The successful candidate will play a key part in assisting customers, organising merchandise, and providing expert advice on our wide range of products. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs and preferences.
- Organise and maintain merchandise displays to ensure an attractive and accessible shopping environment
- Keep the sales floor tidy, well-stocked, and organised in accordance with company standards
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash or card payments
- Support stock replenishment and inventory management tasks as required
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively inform and assist customers
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous retail experience or knowledge of merchandising is beneficial
- Friendly demeanour with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
