Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar PV Installer to join our dynamic renewable energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting photovoltaic solar panel systems on various residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Responsibilities
- Prepare job sites by clearing, leveling, and setting up necessary equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Install solar panels, mounting systems, electrical wiring, and related components following safety protocols and technical specifications.
- Conduct welding tasks to secure mounting structures or repair components as needed.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure system integrity during setup.
- Connect electrical wiring, test system functionality, and perform quality checks to guarantee optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records of installation progress, safety inspections, and system configurations for each project.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in solar panel installation and maintenance.
- Strong welding skills for structural assembly or repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand system components and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Electrical experience to handle wiring connections safely and accurately.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality assurance.
