In this role, you will be the behind-the-scenes engine driving our online presence across both our direct website storefront and leading third-party marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, B&Q). Reporting directly to the Ecommerce Manager, you will combine data analysis, site merchandising, promotional execution, and channel optimisation to ensure our digital storefronts run seamlessly and profitably.

What You will Be Doing
1. Website & Marketplace Listing Management
- Listing & Content Execution: Uploading product across the SGS website and third-party platforms (eBay, Amazon, B&Q). Maintain accurate titles, specs, pricing, item specifics, and visual assets to maximize search rank and conversion.
- Site Walkthroughs & Audits: Perform regular website and marketplace check to catch pricing, stock issues, and listing errors.
- Data & Fix Management: Update Amazon listings, clear B&Q upload errors, and optimise listings using tools like eBay Listing Quality Reports.
2. Promotional Execution & Marketing Collaboration
- Campaign Activation: Assist the Ecom Team to deliver the promotional calendar across all channels. Uploading website banners, eBay Coupon events, Amazon vouchers, seasonal offers, and shop messaging.
- Customer & Channel Engagement: Coordinate the marketplace customer outreach (e.g., promotional newsletters, "Offer to Buyers" sequences) to drive sales.
- Cross-Functional Work: Work with internal teams, Ecom, commercial and IT to troubleshoot issues and align on campaign timelines.
3. Analytics, Reporting & Operations Support
- Performance Analysis: Learn to monitor and generate regular reports on sales performance, customer behaviour, traffic trends, and conversion rates across all web and marketplace channels.
- Product Insights: Learn to deep dive into underperforming vs. overperforming SKUs, delivering actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Stock & Logistics Support: Learn to track inventory levels to balance against overstock management, coordinating peak trade periods and offer periods (e.g., Black Friday/Q4).
Who We Are Looking For
Skills & Qualifications
- Data & Spreadsheet Savvy: Ideally, genuine interest in data analysis, creating MS Excel (filtering, basic formulas, VLOOKUPs) spreadsheets to understand trends and products.
- Software & Platform Exposure: Ideally, experience or exposure to eBay Seller Hub, Amazon Seller Central, Mirakl (e.g., B&Q), Google Analytics (GA4) and web CMS platforms. Shopify, Magento, Custom CMS, HubSpot or BigCommerce.
- Detail-Oriented & Meticulous: High attention to detail with the ability to spot visual, content, or pricing errors instantly.
- Education & Experience: Ideally, prior experience in an eCommerce, marketplace, or email marketing environment is preferred. Degree or equivalent qualification is also plus.
Mindset & Soft Skills
- Adaptable Under Pressure: Ability to prioritise tasks and stay calm during high-volume retail peak periods and get stuck in with the team.
- Proactive & Resilient: A positive "can-do" attitude with a genuine passion for the online retail and the buying, selling, and creating of products and pages, to drive the ecommerce customer journey.
- Good Communicator: Collaborative when sharing updates in team meetings or with platform account managers.
