**Job Overview**
We are looking for dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our night shift team. This position involves providing compassionate care and support to adults with learning disabilities in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in supporting individuals with complex needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively during night hours. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on lives while developing professional skills in a supportive environment.
**Duties**
- Provide personalised care and support according to individual care plans
- Assist with nightly routines such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities
- Monitor behaviour and offer emotional support to promote well-being and development
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, as well as any incidents or concerns
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent care delivery
- Uphold health and safety standards within the residential environment at all times
**Requirements**
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with families and team members
- IT literacy for maintaining records and completing documentation efficiently
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting individuals' development
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Hours are 9 pm to 7 am.
Pay: From £14.45 per hour
