Easiaccess (a division of Easibathe Ltd) are a successful local company, established for over 25 years, who continue to expand within their sector. We are looking for ground workers / ramp fitters to join our established and successful team of installation operatives.
Ideally we are looking for experienced groundworkers who can confidently set-out, pave, concrete and problem solve. The ramp aspect is fully trainable - please contact us if you would like to discuss any aspect of the role before making an application.
Ideally, all applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Clean driving licence

Although based in Gateshead, site work may be conducted across the north of England (and sometimes further afield) therefore, working away is a key part of the role. All candidates receive a working away allowance and expenses when overnight stay's are required.
The ideal candidates will be competent ground workers/landscape gardeners with the ability to concrete, pave and preferably with some basic bricklaying skills such as piecing in or making good when cutting through a wall.
At times candidates will also have to use basic joinery skills to undertake alterations to fencing and garden gates.

Full training will be provided on the assembly and adjustment of our ramp equipment and associated products and you will spend the first few months shadowing existing team members.

CORE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Paving: Able to install footpaths and paved patio areas to a good standard.
- Pin kerbing / paving on edge: Be able to sensibly mark out an installation and set up pin kerbing and paving on edge.
- Fencing: Be able to install timber posts and build a timber fence, including timber gates.
- Concrete: Can shutter and install concrete pads and footpaths with a good knowledge of setting out to allow for drainage from these areas.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Bricklaying: Build low walls brick and flag steps etc.
- Block paving: Extending existing block paved patios or widening existing footpaths.
- Drainage: Ability to install Aco type drainage.
