Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our bank team, providing essential support to individuals in their own homes. This role offers flexible working hours to suit your availability, allowing you to make a positive difference in the lives of those requiring care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a caring attitude, use initiative where needed and the ability to work independently while adhering to care plans and safety protocols. Experience in home care environments is essential.
Hours would be week days, evenings and every other weekend, to be discussed at interview.
The area covered is Holbeach plus 20 mile radius.
Duties
- Deliver personalised care and support to clients within their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist with daily activities such as personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and light domestic tasks.
- Follow individualised care plans accurately, ensuring all client needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, their families, and the wider healthcare team.
- Record and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour promptly and accurately.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when necessary and appropriate.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including infection control procedures. Uphold Safeguarding protocols, keeping everyone safe at all times as per company policies.
Experience
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to ensure effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Driving licence is essential and access to a vehicle.
