Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales & Retention Advisor to join our team in a telephone-based role. The successful candidate will primarily engage with prospective and existing customers over the phone, promoting our products and services, resolving queries, and building long-term customer relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, has a confident telephone manner, and is passionate about delivering great service while supporting sales and retention activities. Full training will be provided for candidates looking to develop their career in sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing customers primarily via telephone to discuss products and services.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with enquiries, policy information, and retention conversations.
- Identify customer needs during calls and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using internal systems.
- Follow up with customers by phone where additional support or information is required.
- Work towards sales and retention targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Support customers through onboarding processes and ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Stay informed about product updates and company offerings to confidently discuss them with customers.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in telephone-based customer service, call centre, sales, or retention roles is desirable but not essential.
- Confident and professional telephone manner with strong communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers quickly over the phone.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
- Experience using CRM or customer management systems is beneficial but not required.
