GT Automotive is a growing automotive parts company and we're looking for a warehouse operative to join our friendly team.
You will be required to pick and load items for orders, whilst keeping the warehouse orderly and clean. For this you will need to have good attention to detail for matching product codes to orders, so you need to be on the ball!
We are in a new warehouse, so it's a great environment for staff and gives new employees the opportunity to help us improve existing procedures and implement new processes to help the effeciency of the warehouse.
Hours are 12.00 - 17.00 Mon - Fri
A forklift license is preferable, but we are happy to train the right person looking for a long-term job with us. Ideally, you'll also have experience of working within a similar environment.
Overall, we’re looking for a highly organised, hands-on person with a “can-do” attitude and there are good long-term prospects here for the right person. Being able to use your initiative is important, as we are a growing business and the job role will change as we expand. Exciting opportunities for anyone wanting to experience a growing business.
Essential skills:
- Have a good standard of literacy and numeracy skills
- Must be happy to do heavy lifting and able to lift and carry loads of up to 25kg
- Have basic computer skills
- Full driving license held for at least 3 years
Preferred (but not essential) skills:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Have a forklift license
