Overview
We are seeking a motivated Labourer to join our team, supporting various construction, gardening, and maintenance projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hands-on work within the landscape and construction industries. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of outdoor and indoor tasks, contributing to the upkeep and development of diverse sites. Prior experience with tools and machinery is advantageous, but training will be provided for specific equipment and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, and turf care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Supporting construction activities such as site preparation, material handling, and assembly
- Using excavators and other machinery under supervision for excavation or lifting tasks
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution
- Performing general maintenance duties to uphold safety standards and site cleanliness
- Assisting with the use of mechanical tools for repairs or assembly work
- Supporting team members with various labouring tasks across multiple projects
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and hand tools is advantageous
- Experience operating excavators or similar machinery is a plus but not essential; training will be provided
- Basic understanding of construction processes and site safety protocols
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques
- Valid personal identification demonstrating eligibility to work in the UK
