Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our team for evening shifts 5pm-10pm. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and happiness. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help create a positive atmosphere where residents feel valued and cared for.
Duties
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support residents in adhering to their individual care plans, ensuring their specific needs are met
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members to promote well-being and understanding
- Assist with meal service and ensure residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented food options
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems and care plan records
- Support residents’ emotional needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Contribute to a safe environment by following health and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a nursing care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents and team members
- Ability to drive is advantageous for supporting residents’ outings or errands
- Basic IT skills for recording care activities and updating care plans accurately
- A genuine passion for caring for others and enhancing their quality of life
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £11.82-£13.61 per hour
