£8.22 per hour
Fixed Term contract for 18 to 24 months (duration of Apprenticeship)

This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced and dedicated team of teaching professionals who will support you in gaining a Teaching Assistant qualification. The Governors and Head Teacher at Hebburn Lakes Primary School would like to appoint two Apprentice Teaching Assistant’s to work towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
You will be required to attend in-set training days and 2 twilight training sessions per academic year.
For this apprenticeship the following are required:
- Maths and English Level 2 Functional Skills or GCSE qualifications grade A* to C (or 4 to 9).
- ECHP: For those with an education, health and care plan or a legacy statement the apprenticeships English and Maths minimum requirement is Entry Level 3 and British Sign Language qualification are an alternative to English qualifications for whom this is their primary language.
