Support Worker - Complex Care
Location: Prestbury, Macclesfield SK10
Salary: £16.50 – £18.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and making a real impact? Premium Care Solutions is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Support Worker to join our specialist team. You will be caring for a bright and joyful teenager with complex medical needs within the comfort of his own family home.
Despite his medical challenges, our client loves being out and about in the local community and engaging in sensory activities and social experiences.
About the Role: More Than Just Care
You will be supporting a bright, joyful, and engaging teenager in the heart of his family home in Prestbury. This is a unique opportunity to move away from the rush of residential or hospital settings and focus on dedicated, two-to-one support.
While our client has complex needs—including HIE, Cerebral Palsy, and a tracheostomy—he is a young boy who loves to be active. Your day won’t just be about clinical tasks; it will be about:
- Being a Companion: Joining him on community outings and exploring local sensory experiences.
- Enabling Quality of Life: Helping him thrive in his everyday environment through meaningful engagement and play.
- Specialist Skill Building: Mastering clinical tasks like tracheostomy care and seizure management with the full support of our clinical team.
The Contract & Schedule
We are looking for a reliable team member for a Full-Time position.
- Guaranteed Hours: 144 hours per month (averaging approx. 3 shifts per week).
- The Rota: A balanced mix of 12-hour Day shifts (08:00–20:00) and Waking Night shifts (20:00–08:00) Monday to Sunday
Who We Are Looking For
- The Right Personality: You are patient, empathetic, and have a proactive "can-do" attitude.
- No Experience? No Problem: While complex care experience is a bonus, we are happy to hire based on values. If you are willing to learn, we will provide you with full, paid specialist training and ongoing clinical oversight.
- Commitment: Someone looking for a long-term, stable role where they can truly get to know the client and his family.
