Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure quality and hygiene in all food and beverage handling
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
Requirements
- Prior barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Experience serving customers in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
