Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, following proper food safety standards
- Take orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and manage cash transactions efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to legal alcohol service regulations
- Assist in setting up the bar for busy periods and special events, ensuring smooth operations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a lively, welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy times efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
