Lead Plumber / Heating Engineer (Renewables)

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Plumber / Heating Engineer to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality renewable energy and heating installations while working alongside our experienced electrical and solar PV engineers.
As our business continues to grow, you'll be trusted to manage projects from start to finish, taking pride in delivering first-class workmanship and excellent customer service.
The Role
Your work will primarily involve:
- Installing air source heat pumps.
- Installing domestic hot water cylinders.
- Installing central heating systems.
- Installing underfloor heating systems.
- Installing hot and cold water services.
- First and second fix plumbing.
- Commissioning and testing installations.
- Working closely with our electrical and solar PV team to deliver complete renewable energy systems.
- Leading projects on site and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
No gas work is required.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years' plumbing and heating experience.
- Fully qualified plumber/heating engineer.
- Good understanding of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations.
- Competent in soldering copper pipework.
- Experienced using press-fit/crimp systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage an installation from start to finish.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience installing heat pumps.
- Experience with underfloor heating systems.
- Renewable energy experience (training can be provided for the right candidate).
